PRECAST UNDERGROUND WATER TANKS
DIG, DROP AND USE
In the present scenario, water is becoming a very scarce commodity and we should take all measures to store and use it religiously.
Considering all this, @ TVK, we are offering this product.
The sizes of the tanks have been designed keeping in mind the need for erecting the tanks in congested areas and places with very less clearance.
These tanks have also been priced in a manner that it is lower than the cost of the conventional tank.
DESIGN REQUIREMENTS
Hollow core slab cladding wall can easily cover larger spans with these vertical and horizontal joints. No need of a tie beam between columns to resist bending, unlike other methods, since it spans column to column.

KEY FEATURES
1. SOUND & HEAT INSULATION
HCS walls have excellent sound insulation properties. Due to the voids, heat transfer from exterior to interior is minimal.
2. ECO-FRIENDLY
HCS walls are resource-efficient. Longitudinal voids reduce raw material usage, making them more sustainable.
3. QUICK & SPEEDY EXECUTION
Precast components allow fast installation, reducing project timelines significantly.
4. CONSTRUCTION AT EASE
Simple design and modular panels make installation easy even in congested areas.
5. FIRE RESISTANCE
200 mm thick panels offer 120 minutes of fire resistance; this can be increased with design modifications.
6. RESISTANCE AGAINST WEATHER
The groove joint design prevents water ingress, improving weather resistance and lifespan.
7. THERMAL PROPERTY
The thermal resistance of the HCS wall enhances energy efficiency within the structure.
THERMAL PROPERTY
| Parameter | Value | Remarks |
|---|---|---|
| Thermal Conductivity | Low | Excellent insulation performance |
| Temperature Resistance | Up to 120°C | Stable under varying conditions |
DURABILITY AND EXPOSURE CONDITIONS
HCS cladding wall is inherently durable and protects the strands provided that the thickness of cover chosen is appropriate for the degree of exposure.
| Exposure Condition | Concrete Grade | Min. Cover (mm) |
|---|---|---|
| Moderate | M35 | 25 |
| Severe | M40 | 30 |
| Very Severe | M45 | 40 |
