The sizes of all precast compound walls vary based on the customer’s requirements, soil conditions, and land topography.
FOUNDATION DETAILS
The foundation type depends on soil condition and budget. Two main types of foundation are adopted:
- Pile Foundation: Ideal for clayey soil and high water table. It uses a cast-in-place pile with a precast pile cap and socket.
- Open Eccentric Foundation: Suitable for good soil conditions. It combines footing and pocket as one piece, eliminating cast-in-place work.
Topography of Land
Based on the land’s topography, the height of the compound wall varies. If the client maintains the same ground level, wall height remains constant. For leveled land, filling or cutting may be required, and retaining walls may be included for stability when fill exceeds 2m.
Other Features of the Walls
- Decorative elements like wall coping and column coping can be added.
- Safety features such as grills, Y-angles, and barbed wires can be installed.
- Walls can be painted, polished, or engraved with labels or logos.
